The purpose is to recognize and honor men and women who have played a major role and positively contributed to the growth and development of softball on local, state and national levels.

The Central Virginia ASA Softball Hall of Fame will endeavor to

Recognize men and women who have demonstrated outstanding ability and sportsmanship in softball competition as well as integrity and sound character both on and off the field
Provide opportunity and encourage participation in the game of softball

Provide competent leadership to maintain the ideals and traditions of the Association and the game
Provide a positive environment for the enjoyment of both the players and the citizens and families of the area
